About
Van Vagdo
History of Van Vagdo –
Van Vagdo isn’t just a place—it’s a living, breathing expression of heart, friendship, and the quiet magic that happens when people come together with a shared dream.
It all began during the stillness of the COVID lockdown, when five friends—teachers by profession—found themselves with time on their hands and a longing to create something meaningful. With schools closed and their usual routines disrupted, they looked inward and toward each other, wondering how to bring their untapped skills to life. Skills like growing vegetables, painting murals, building with their hands, and cooking with soul.
What started as an idea soon became a calling. Instead of waiting for things to return to “normal,” they rolled up their sleeves and began building something from scratch—something that blended their love for the land, their creativity, and their desire to give people a space where they could reconnect with simplicity, nature, and community.
Every house at Van Vagdo was built by them. Every wall painted, every garden planted, every corner crafted carries their imprint. It’s a space born from intention and care—a sanctuary not designed by architects, but by people who simply wanted to build something beautiful together.
And when you stay at Van Vagdo, you feel that. You feel the warmth of the soil they tilled, the comfort of spaces they painted with joy, and the peace that only comes from something made with love, not profit. Van Vagdo is more than a getaway—it’s a quiet revolution in what it means to create, to connect, and to come home to what truly matters.
